This weekend’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19 was explosive, with many emotions running high, and a series of unexpected turns shaking the house to its core. As Salman Khan is busy with his ongoing shoot for Battle of Galwaan, the hosting responsibilities were handed over to filmmaker-producer Farah Khan, who came in like a ball of fire, in her usual style.
The night even featured special guests, and cohort filmmakers Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi looked to help promote Jolly LLB 3. Their fun antics with the contestants added a fleeting light-heartedness in an emotionally charged and drama-fueled episode.
However, that was just the calm before the storm, as Farah began a task which had the contestants very anxious and nervous. She asked each housemate to divulge what other contestant they would like to always close the “file of friendship” with. Her question — “Konsa contestant hai jiske saath aap dosti ki file hamesha ke liye close karna chahte ho?” quickly brought tension into the house.
When it was Baseer Ali’s turn, he surprised everyone by taking the stamp and placing it on Nehal’s cheek; that symbolized the end of their friendship. Both housemates and fans were shocked by this action because the IPL between Baseer and Nehal was one of the most discussed factors in the house. In the promo, a visibly hurt Nehal said she cannot take “disrespect in friendship.” Baseer however was resolute, and said, “Jis cheez ki ye baat kar rahi hai woh cheez inhone kuch logo ko baithakar already bol di.”
