Just after the latest nomination task in the Bigg Boss house, emotions erupted when popular contestant Awez Darbar cried after nominating Gaurav Khanna. While giving his reason in the nomination task, Awez said, “I feel there is no duty, so I will nominate Gaurav Bhai.”
Even though the nomination was not permanent, Awez was seen visibly guilty and upset after nominating Gaurav.
Gaurav, with maturity, accepted this and said “it is only our game.” However, this did not stop Awez and Gaurav from having a heart-to-heart in the living area later.
Gaurav addressed Awez, asserting, “are you saying Natalia is more important than my games? Not just your game, but you put her name above mine. Just because you did not understand my duties.” To this Awez said, “One thing I do not like about this- If somebody is trying to be sly.”
Gaurav looked shocked but had a calm demeanor, while Awez said, “Sly? You went inside and showed that I think that I am sly.”
Post the conversation at the dinner table, Awez was clearly upset and was seen getting consoled by Kunickaa, Amaal Mallik, and especially Nagma. During a heartfelt moment with Nagma, Awez mentioned that this is a prime reason he fears relationships. In the last episode, he had already talked about the impact that his parents separating out and an ex cheating on him has done to him mentally and emotionally.
The interaction showed the emotional, as well strategic, elements of the game. It was interesting to see how quickly things can change in the Bigg Boss house, especially when it comes to alliances and now perceptions. Both of which are already affected due to the nominations, leading into what happens next, very much guarantees that no viewer is bemused as to how this emotional moment will play into Awez and Gaurav’s development.
