Shahid Kapoor has started filming the long-awaited Cocktail 2. On Saturday, the actor posted a selfie from the movie location on his Instagram Story with the caption “New Beginnings!!! Cocktail 2,” tagging actors Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon.
The film is directed by Homi Adajania, and it is expected to deliver a whole new take on the franchise.
As per the reports, the production is expected to be completed by January 2026. The film will be filmed in amazing locations in India and Europe, with the team also thinking of strong addition of an ensemble cast beside the three leads. It states to deliver a mix of romance, comedy and drama. The filming is expected to delight the audience’s cinematic palettes with amazing visualizations.
The leading actors are all tied up with several projects. Kapoor will star in Vishal Bhardwaj’s next film that is slated to release this December. Kriti Sanon is currently shooting Aanand L Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein with Dhanush, while Rashmika Mandanna just finished filming in Thama opposite Ayushmann Khurrana just before starting Cocktail 2.
